About this page

This Fit Report is a summary of publicly available information about Success Nutrients and its products, taken from their own website, labels and published material as of 5 November 2026. We’ve linked each source so you can check it yourself. Rates are as printed on each company’s own pages; we don’t show prices. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Success Nutrients, and product names belong to their owners. Products, rates and claims change, so please confirm current details with the manufacturer before making any decision. Spotted something out of date? Email nathan@bloomyellowbottles.com and we’ll correct it.

Where Bloom fits · the biggest difference

A salt and mineral base, with the organic side on top.

Their FAQ calls the line salt and mineral based, complete nutrition. None of the products listed on their site is a kelp, fish, humic, carbohydrate or sea-mineral input. That’s the gap Bloom’s weekly tonics fill, at small doses that don’t change Micro, Trees and Flowers.

  • Stays as is: Micro, Trees and Flowers, Frosty Nugs, Amplify and the feed chart.
  • Both have one: silica, cal-mag, roots, mid flower and late flower boosters, and a pest spray.
  • Not on their list: kelp, tuna, humic acid, carbs, sea minerals, veg and flip additives and foliar sprays.

Silica, Bud Strength, Blast Off, Flame, Game Time and YetiControl each sit near a Bloom product.

4Bloom fits

Seaweed, Seafuel, Humate, SWTNR, Sea Minerals, Pre, Ultra and the foliar sprays.

Where we fit together

Where the programs complement each other

High · weekly

Kelp, humic and carbs on a mineral base

Their FAQ calls the line salt and mineral based, and nothing on their list is kelp, fish, humic, carbs or sea minerals. Seaweed, Seafuel, Humate, SWTNR and Sea Minerals go in at 0.13–2.5 ml/L weekly without touching Micro, Trees and Flowers.

High · feed days

Bloom’s weekly doses in a feed-feed-flush rhythm

Their FAQ runs a flush mix after every two feeds, and Frosty Nugs is listed as a flushing agent. Bloom’s chart is weekly, so the doses go into one feed mix a week and the flush mixes stay theirs (our read).

Medium · veg

Silica before the flip

Their Silica page lists flower only, every other watering. Bloom Silica runs from veg at 0.33 ml/L weekly, so the two could cover different stages of the same run (our read).

Where the programs overlap

Their line, Bloom’s fit at a glance

Matched on job, not NPK. Success prints timing on its product pages and rates on its feed chart; Bloom prints ml per litre on a weekly feed chart. Tap a tag to filter.

Where a job isn’t on Success Nutrients’s list

Why each one fits

What the Bloom product does, the research behind that kind of input, and where it sits in a program that already runs.

Not on their list · weekly

Kelp and tuna on a mineral base

What it does. Seaweed is southern bull kelp at 1 ml/L weekly, seedling through the flush. Seafuel is tuna and kelp at 1 ml/L weekly, clone through late flower, tapering at the flush.

The science Well supported

Reviews of seaweed extracts report effects on growth, root development and stress tolerance across many crops. Work on protein hydrolysates, the group fish inputs sit in, is newer and links them to nutrient uptake. None of it tests these bottles.

Ali et al. (2021), Plants (review) · Malécange et al. (2023), Int J Mol Sci (review)

How it stacks. Goes into a feed mix once a week, after the base. The flush mixes stay theirs (our read).

Seaweed · Seafuel

Not on their list · root zone

Humic, carbs and sea minerals

What it does. Humate is 10% humic acid at 2.5 ml/L weekly. SWTNR is carbohydrates and potassium at 1 ml/L weekly, veg week 2 to the flush. Sea Minerals is 0.13 ml/L weekly, veg to bloom.

The science Well supported

A major review links humic substances to more lateral root growth and to root changes tied to nutrient uptake. It covers humic substances in general, not either brand.

Canellas et al. (2015), Scientia Horticulturae (review)

How it stacks. Their chart is built in mL/gal on the ppm 500 scale. Small doses like these add a little to the reading, so log ppm after adding (our read).

Humate · SWTNR · Sea Minerals

Not on their list · by stage

Pre in veg, Ultra at the flip

What it does. Pre runs mid veg (weeks 2–3) and Ultra flower weeks 1–2, both at 1 ml/L weekly. These are timing tools, so there’s no study cited for them here.

How it stacks. Blast Off already runs veg to flower week 3. Pre and Ultra go into those same weeks as one-stage additives (our read: check runoff when you add anything).

Pre · Ultra

Both have one · silica

Silica from veg

What it does. Bloom Silica is potassium silicate at 0.33 ml/L weekly, added first, veg through early flower, tapering in late bloom.

The science Emerging

An editorial on silicon research says it helps plants with some stresses, but there’s no conclusive evidence on how, and most work is on grasses.

Deshmukh, Ma and Belanger (2017), Frontiers in Plant Science (editorial)

How it stacks. Their Silica page lists flower only, every other watering. A grower could run Bloom’s in veg and theirs in flower, or test one against the other (our read).

Their programBloomTaper, as needed, or window varies by label

Timing comes from each Success product page. Their feed chart is an image, so where veg starts and how Flame’s weeks 3–8 line up with these stages is our read. Silica is hatched for every other watering. YetiControl is weekly for prevention and tapers at the final flush, so it’s pale. Their feed-feed-flush rhythm isn’t drawn. Bloom’s bars follow its weekly feed charts; pale Bloom bars are as-needed bottles or tapers.

Background, science and sources

Who Success Nutrients are

Success Nutrients started in Colorado in 2015 with commercial cannabis growers. Organitek began formulating and making the line in 2019 and fully acquired it in January 2024. Their FAQ says inputs and packaging are sourced, made and shipped in the USA.

The range is a nine-part salt and mineral system built on the Three A Light method, with a grow book by Joshua Haupt and a free feed chart (version 4.0, acclimated and un-acclimated). They also sell Amplify and YetiControl, formerly Mammoth CannControl, plus Success Pro sizes. Sales run online, through a store locator and a wholesale inquiry form.

What each company brings

Success Nutrients: A three-part mineral base, cal-mag-iron, silica, a root additive, two flower P and K boosters (one a powder), a magnesium and sulfur flushing aid, a bacterial inoculant, a plant protection spray, and the Three A Light method with a feed chart.

Bloom: one additive for each stage of the crop, seaweed, humic and sea mineral inputs, foliar sprays, and weekly feed charts for soil, coco and hydro. Rates and timing are on every product page.

Cropping Solutions, the other brand under Agricultural Organics, isn’t part of this report.

Dose basis: how each side counts

Success Nutrients prints rates on its feed chart, not on the product pages. Their FAQ says the chart is in mL/gal on the ppm 500 scale, and the chart page suggests starting on the un-acclimated rates for a first harvest. Product pages give timing: every watering for most products, every other watering in flower for Silica.

Bloom prints ml per litre on a weekly feed chart. On a feed-feed-flush rhythm, Bloom’s weekly doses go into one feed mix a week (our read). One mL per gallon is about 0.26 ml/L.

Mix calculator

Rates as printed on each company’s page (1 US gallon is 3.785 L). Bloom’s rates are per litre of nutrient solution, dosed weekly per its feed charts. Pick a product and your tank size.

Potassium in the plantWell supported

Hasanuzzaman and colleagues (2018) review potassium’s roles in enzyme activity, stomata, photosynthesis and carbohydrate metabolism, and in tolerance to drought, salt and heat.

Why it matters here: Flame, Game Time and Bloom’s PK all bring potassium in flower, so add up the total across the stack (our read). The review is general plant science and doesn’t compare products.
