White paper 06 · Veg stack · Grower proof series
Roots, Ultra,
Sea Minerals
The three products growers keep naming together in the first half of a run. Here’s what they reported, and what we still can’t tell you.

The stack
Strike to stretch
ROOTS early on, from cuttings through veg. SEA MINERALS alongside it through veg. ULTRA in weeks 1–2 of flower, through the stretch.
What makes this a program rather than three products is that growers keep naming them together, unprompted, in the same message.

What’s actually different
Three things worth knowing
One house, built to stack
Three products from one house, made to run together rather than assembled from whatever was on the shelf.
It sits over the base
No grower in the record swapped their base nutrient to run this stack.
Wide crop range
The same products turn up on cannabis, peppers and herbs. See the food crops paper.
Worth knowing. Growers keep pairing these three without being told to, which is why we wrote it up. Most of what’s here is description, not measurement. One grower did compare plants with and without Roots in the same room; his words are below.
What growers are reporting
In their own words
Quotes come from Bloom’s grower review records. Some are lightly trimmed for length and spelling, with the meaning unchanged; the original messages are on file. Growers in the trial program agreed to their feedback being shared.

“The roots definitely helped. The three plants I used them on are roughly 6–10 inches taller than the ones I didn’t. Same PPFD, EC and water times; the only difference was the Bloom.”

“I love the smell of Roots, it’s my go-to. I double down on clones and they’re typically rooted in 4–7 days.”
