Bloom ROOTS 1 litre bottle

It isn’t just a
cannabis line

Peppers, chillies and herbs: a short, early paper on where Bloom has turned up outside its main market, and what it would take to make this a real one.

Reading time ~4 minutes · Label figures transcribed from the product labels · Sources listed at the end · October 2026
Three growers, outside cannabis, reporting the same things.
Happy seedlings and quick early growth. Interesting, not yet a market.
Who this is for

Short on purpose, because the proof is thin

Three growers outside cannabis have reported on Bloom: two pepper growers and one grower running it on herbs and house plants. They describe healthy, fast-moving young plants, the same things the cannabis growers talk about.
Bloom’s labels read ADVANCED FLORICULTURE, not cannabis. The range was never built as a cannabis line; that’s just where the US market took it.

What’s actually different

Three things worth knowing

The label was never cannabis-specific
ADVANCED FLORICULTURE, made in Australia for horticulture generally.
Same products, same reports
The food-crop growers describe the same behaviour on ROOTS and SEA MINERALS as the cannabis growers do.
Not certified organic
Food growers ask this first, and the answer is no. Bloom is not USDA-certified organic.
Worth knowing. Three growers is an interesting signal, not a market. Treat this as early notes.
What growers are reporting

In their own words

Quotes come from Bloom’s grower review records. Some are lightly trimmed for length and spelling, with the meaning unchanged; the original messages are on file. Growers in the trial program agreed to their feedback being shared.
